THEME OF WEEK - MAKING OF MODERN AMERICA! - THE 1960S!
WEEK 34 - AMERICA IN THE 1960S! - POLITICS, ECONOMICS, CIVIL RIGHTS, VIETNAM AND COUNTERCULTURE!
Weekly Theme - This week, students will be finishing their unit study on Chapter 23 and 24 - Living in a World at War and the World the War Created! Specifically - students will be taking the unit test assessment. After that - students will proceed to the final unit of the AP US History curriculum - Making of Modern America! Students will begin their study of the 1960s first then move into the later years accordingly.
Of course - Students will be taking the unit test assessment with help of their chapter outline compositions which will be passed back. Then - students will complete the LEQ on a separate document uploaded to Google Classroom. The last notebook of the year will have the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s and 1990s in it which will finish the year! Key parts of study will comprise the politics, war, economics, society and cultural parts of emphasis!
