Weekly Theme - This week, students will be taking a closer look at content of Era of Good Feelings, Industrial Revolution, Politics of Jackson Era and then the expansion of slavery!
Of course - Students will be completing more lessons and their corresponding contents within the unit notebook packet on Chapter 9 and 10 - New Industries - New Politics / Democracy in Age of Andrew Jackson!

SWBAT recall key content and key concepts from Era of Good Feelings and Market Revolution by playing a review game.
SWBAT identify notable life story attributes, personality traits, accomplishments and shortcomings of Presidents Quincy Adams, Jackson and Van Buren by viewing a video, completing an analysis chart and analyzing decision points.

Kahoot! - Presidents of Era of Good Feelings / Market Revolution - Students will partake in review game featuring content from those class components.
Video/Chart/Decision Points - Ultimate Guide to Presidents - Students will view video and complete analysis chart on each subsequent president from era of US History. They will also complete analysis scenarios for each President too.!

SWBAT identify, describe, explain key characteristics, attributes and controversies surrounding slavery in the mid 1800s by viewing a video and answering questions.
SWBAT compose a document-based question composition by reading primary documents related to slavery and analyzing their major talking points and themes accordingly.
