WEEK 33 - THE WORLD THE WAR CREATED - THE COLD WAR!
Weekly Theme - This week, students will be continuing their unit study on Chapter 23 and 24 - Living in a World at War and the World the War Created! Specifically - students will be learning more about the post-war world with focus on Cold War geopolitics, American Politics, economics and American Culture!
Of course - Students will be completing lesson components within the notebook packet administered! Key parts of focus will be items like guided notes, video/questions, activities and exercises.
HOMEWORK! - CHAPTER 23 OUTLINE COMPOSITION DUE: SUNDAY BY MIDNIGHT! (Submit on Google Classroom - bring hard copy to class)
PLANNING AHEAD! - Students should be progressively working on notebook components like unit vocabulary and then also other tasks - maps, timeline, people to know. etc.!

SWBAT identify, describe, explain key people, events and impacts of Cold War Era by taking guided lecture notes.
SWBAT identify, describe, evaluate key personality traits, life-story attributes, accomplishments and shortcomigns of Presidents of Cold War Era by viewing video segment and completing chart analysis.
METHOD:
Warm-Up / Q of the Day!
Kahoot! - Review Game - Students will partake in review game testing their knowledge on content learned from World War II unit.
Notes - The Cold War Begins - Eisenhower, McCarthyism and the Cold War - Students will take guided lecture notes.
Video/Chart/Anlaysis - Cold War Presidents - Students will view video segments from History Channel's Ultimate Guide to Presidents and complete analysis chart on each President.
