WEEK 25 - ANALYZING THE GILDED AGE IN AMERICA!!
Weekly Theme - This week, students will be continuing their unit on America in the Gilded Age! Key emphasis will be placed on analyzing key themes of history from the era, key primary documents and key roles and impacts of the industrialists of the era as well!
Of course - Students will be completing corresponding lessons in their notebooks! Key items of focus this week will be finishing key concept questions, reading and analyzing primary documetns from the era, and the upcoming debate forum on Industrialists and Wealth in the Gilded Age! Of course - other items will be completed independently by students.
HOMEWORK! - MAPPING IMMIGRAITON IN GILDED AGE - MAP 1 AND 2 DUE: TUESDAY!

SWBAT evaluate key primary documents from the era by reading and analyzing them via a evaluation chart.

Chapter 17 and 18 Key Concept Questions - Students will answer higher order thinking questions on
Chapter 17 and 18 Primary Documents - Students will read primary documents and analyze them via the chart accordingly.

DOC 3 - A Second Declaration of Independence
DOC 4 - Walter Rauschenbusch - the Social Gospel
Notebook Exercises - Mapping Gilded Age / Timeline / People to Know - Students will complete remaining tasks within the notebook.

SWBAT demonstrate key content knowledge and key competencies learned from the unit by partaking in a review game.
METHOD:

Video/Discussion - Rockefeller on Trial - Students will view video and discuss its contents.
Debate Forum - Students will partake in debate forum analyzing Industrialists of Gilded Age. They will also complete chart too.
Vocab. Challenge - Students will partake in vocab. challenge - matching vocab. terms with key pictures.
