About/Design: This room was specially designed and decorated by the 2019-2020 AP US History class. The room celebrates learning with focus on active citizenship and global cultural values. It honors the three different classes taught and features sample student work. (Honorable mentions: Eryn Binner, Shane Carson, Emily Ernst, Austin Hoff, Samantha Mutter and Brianna Nigrone)

WHAT IS IT: AP United States History is a college-level social studies class where students learn about the entire history of the United States from before 1492 to the present.

WHAT IS IT: Civics and Government is a high school social studies class usually taught to 10th grade students to teach and incite civic knowledge and engagement. Students will be able to learn more about the rationale, workings, opportunities and problems with components of government and society.
