WEEK 28 - MASS MEDIA AND PUBLIC OPINION!
28th Week of School! This week - students will be continuing and finishing their new unit of study on the Mass Media and Public Opinion! Specifically - students will be learning more about the characteristics, roles and functions of the media with focus on public opinion and interest groups.
Weekly Theme(s) - Students will be completing notes on Interest Groups and Public Opinion. They will be taking a sample public opinion survey to see how polls work and data is aggregated. Then - students will be learning about the history of the media and major news networks and media applications. Finally - students will be preparing for the unit test assessment by completing a word scramble activity and then partaking in Jeopardy Review Game!
