WEEK 35 - AMERICA IN THE 1970S AND 1980S!

Weekly Theme - This week, students will be continuing their unit study on Chapter 26, 27, 28 and 29 - Making of Modern America! Specifically - students will be learning more about the decades of US History like the 1970s and 1980s!

Of course - Students will be completing lessons and assignments in the unit notebook packet on Making of Modern America! Specifically - students will be completing key tasks like notes, video/questions, activties and review exercises. Students will be covering two decades of modern US History this week with emphasis and focus on politics, economics, foreign issues and societal and cultural characteristics!

HOMEWORK! - TIMELINE / PEOPLE TO KNOW OF 1960S! DUE: TUESDAY!

PLANNING AHEAD! - Students should work progressively on key tasks within the notebook for Making of Modern America - timeline, chart, map!

OBJECTIVE:

SWBAT demonstrate key content knowledge and key competencies of content learned in 1960s by partaking in a review game.
SWBAT identify, describe, explain key polticial, economic and social events of 1970s by viewing a video and completing analysis chart and taking guided lecture notes.

Inquiry Drawings - Students will complete set of inquiry drawings on key inventions from Modern American Era and include corresponding descriptors.
