A Wedding Vow (2)

Another beautiful wedding vow by Richard Gascoyne, a friend of mine. He would like to offer this one with you all too.

Thank you Richard for sharing your beautiful poems with us.

Written for Emily and Truan

Let your two hearts beat  as one,

to see your world from both sides of the view,

Truly crave to know the other’s needs,

giving grace to be the others desire,

Accept sorrow as much as joy,

smiling each and every time you meet,

Remember today forever,

for it is a true celebration and

the start of a life meant to be.

You are both unique, yet joined in one with the other,

You walk two paths but they lead to one destination,

You are two halves sharing the gift of the same love,

So breathe for each other as no others can.

For now is the time to

let your two hearts beat as one.
