Parable of the Hidden Treasure
One man went to sow, went to sow a meadow,
One man and his spade, went to sow a meadow.
One man went to sow, went to sow a meadow,
One man and his spade, took a hoe he’d made,
and went to sow a meadow.
One man went to sow, went to sow a meadow,
One man and his spade, took a hoe he’d made,
Sang and prayed,
And went to sow a meadow.
One man went to sow,
went to sow a meadow,
One man and his spade,
took a hoe he’d made,
sang and prayed,
dug in the ground
and there surveyed,
lots and lots of treasure!
The man who went to sow,
went to sow no longer,
He, that day, sold all he had
(to buy that field)
and never more did hunger.
