…to God and His reply

Why not try this exercise with the children in your classroom or

church, and get them to answer their own letter once they’ve finished?

Some of the replies were marvellous. You’d think God had

really answered them………?

This letter was penned by Christopher (13 years old)

‘Hi God/ Alien/Ghost?...whoever you are!

I’ve got a questions to ask you…

but I’ll not keep you long because you probably going out

clubbing or dancing or whatever you do up in space or on Mars

or wherever  you live! Anyway, why DO people never see you?

Some people hear you talking in their heads…

 but we never see you.

And anyway, how did you start the world off?

Did you just plug in a socket and BANG!

I bet you any money that was THE BIG BANG!

How do you keep everything running really smoothly, like the

Sun and the Earth rotating and all the planets etc?

How do you keep them going, just like the metros running from

Wallsend to Walker and back?

And why do you remove people from the earth, and say to them,

‘You are the chosen one this time!’

And is it true that before you die your whole life flashes through

your head in nine seconds?

Ah well, could you write back to me please?

Hi Chris,

I got your letter from a passing angel. First of all you did really

well in that play last week, well done!

I’ll answer your question.

I’m everywhere. I don’t live on Mars. I’m everywhere right?

In fact I’m sitting right next to you in the classroom.

I can’t wait till you come up to heaven and see for yourself!

I might take you right now! ~only joking.

Anyway write back to me. You’re a really funny kid.
