Blind Walk

In this resource pack find 15 blindfolds for young folk, and 2 for adults.

If you have the chance to do an activity out of doors, an interesting exercise is to do a ‘Blind Walk’, where each of the young folks has a partner, (one of whom will wear a blindfold)

They are led along in twos, with one guiding the other, all following an adult leader, who chooses a safe route across grass, over hillocks etc.,

The young folk must give instructions very carefully to their partners in order to protect them and keep them safe. Later they change over.

This exercise has to be carefully supervised for obvious reasons, but is an invaluable way of introducing the theme TRUST.
