The Museum of Geosciences held its first-ever Specimen ID Day for the public, organized by Mariah Green, to great success. 64 visitors came to the Museum to have their fossils, minerals, and rocks identified by students and faculty. Thank you to all the student volunteers and faculty for making this event successful: Luke Backlund, Hunter Cornwell, Michael Martin-Baker, Sofia Kryder, Cecil Lavezzo, Trevor MacDuffee, Angelina Stephens, and Neil Johnson. The Museum intends to keep this terrific going in future years.
