Assistant Professor George Allen and PhD student Ben Eppinger led a presentation and discussion about how to write an effective abstract, as part of the GSRS workshop series.

Dr. Adam Pritchard, Assistant Curator of Paleontology at the Virginia Museum of Natural History, gave the Friday seminar, "Acts of preservation: Overcoming preservational biases to recreating the history of life."
