Professor Mark Caddick organized and led the department's first Geoscientist for a Day event, hosting five prospective undergraduates and their families in a day of events and tours of the department. Drs. Laura Neser and Sarah Stamps gave presentations, and many students participated in this successful event.

Many students and faculty helped staff a successful Department of Geosciences booth at the November Open House for visiting prospective undegrads.
