The department booth was expertly and enthusiastically staffed at the Majors Fair on Wednesday, by undergrads Katie Hughes, Denycé Jasicki, Maddi Williams, and Benjamin Avellaneda, grad students Ella Davis and Elizabeth Curtiss, and faculty members Laura Neser, Marc Michel, and Maddy Schreiber.
Department of Geosciences Adjunct Professor Bill Henika presented this year's Museum of Geosciences talk, on "New Lithic Evidence of Prehistoric Migration Pathways to the Southern Appalachians."
Last week's Friday seminar was given by Dr. Johanna Teske (Carnegie Earth and Planets Lab Carnegie Institution for Science), on "The First Population Survey of Small Planet Atmospheres with JWST." The visit was hosted by Professor Scott King.
