Geosciences grad students present at NABG conference

Graduate students Asenath Kwagalakwe, John Ogunleye, Esther Oyedele, and Seyi Dasho presented their research at the 42nd National Association of Black Geoscientists Annual Conference (NABG) in Washington, D.C.

Professor Brian Romans zoomed in to another class from the drill ship JOIDES Resolution, giving a ship tour and expedition overview to Laura Neser's sed-strat class.


Dr. Compton (Jim) Tucker gives Friday seminar

Last week's Friday seminar was given by Dr. Compton Tucker (Senior Scientist NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center, Earth Sciences), on "Semi-arid carbon stocks of 9.9 billion trees from 326,000 Maxar images." The visit was hosted by Mike Willis.
