Paleo Unpacking Party
For the first time in three years (pandemic...), the vertebrate paleo group and the Museum of Geosciences hosted the Paleo Unpacking Party. New Student Welcome
Last week's GEOS Tuesday event was our annual New Student Welcome. Thanks to Mary Verne and Ella Davis for organizing and emceeing the event, and a "job-well-done" to all the presenters.
Faculty/Staff Coffee Hour
Last week saw our very first faculty/staff coffee hour, featuring our new Breville espresso machine. It was great to see folks enjoying good conversation with their lattes, espressos, and cafe americanos.
New River Cleanup
Last Saturday the Global Rivers Group, led by Assistant Professor George Allen, cleaned up the New River and Toms Creek as part of the Renew the New event.
