The New Student Welcome for undergraduates who have just joined Geosciences was held in the Museum, organized by April Newcomer and led by undergrads Morgan Shikle, Julio Montenegro, and Noah Keller.

Junyao Kang successfully defended his PhD, "Geochemical investigation of the co-evolution of life and environment during the Neoproterozoic Era."

Jui-Chi (Vickie) Lee successfully defended her PhD, "Novel Multitemporal Synthetic Aperture Radar Interferometry Algorithms and Models Applied on Managed Aquifer Recharge and Fault Creep."
