Message from the pac chair

Hello Sunnyside Families,


Where is time going? March is here. Soon we will start seeing flowers and before we know it, it’s spring and spring break. I hope you all have some plans for the little break that’s coming our way. So glad that some of the restrictions around us are being lifted and we are starting to enjoy the new norm.

Unfortunately for activities at the school we are still under limitations. As always we are hopeful that will change once we are back from the spring break!

Just another reminder that we are still fundraising for the web climber so please contribute and encourage your network to support us.

Due to spring break, there is no PAC meeting scheduled for March. We look forward to seeing you at the next meeting in April.

We continue to call on our families & community partners to help bring some much-needed outdoor fun to our Sunnyside students. Unfortunately, we were unable to meet our goal by the deadline set to install this summer, but we will continue to raise funds and get there soon!

Spirit Days

March 11 is Pyjama Day! Come to school dressed in comfy pyjamas, and enjoy the last day before the 2 week spring break.

When purchasing fresh, delicious COBS Bread, mention Sunnyside and we will receive 5% of the sale price. Help us raise funds for some wonderful things for our school. Applicable to 2 nearby South Surrey locations:

Time to spring clean out that garage? We have the solution! Bag them and drop them off at any Return-It Depot. The Sunnyside PAC has an Express account that is open all year long. Our account/phone # is 888-888-8888.

With so much construction around the school, please be mindful of pick up & drop off locations. The Kiss and Go, located in the upper parking lot by the front entrance, is an area to safely drop your child off before school. Your child must be able to unbuckle and exit the car independently, from the passenger's side, and head to class. Keep in mind that this is not an area to park and wait.
