Message from the pac president

Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a wonderful break and enjoyed time with your friends and families. Thank you for attending our Pancake Breakfast. It was so nice to see so many families out and enjoying this annual tradition. Here's to an exciting 2020!

On Monday, January 13, treat the family to healthy, fresh wraps, salads, bowls, or sandwiches by The Chopped Leaf, while raising money for Sunnyside. Present a digital copy of the notice, or say "Sunnyside" when ordering, and 20% will be donated back to our school!

This fundraiser will run from 3 to 8 PM at the Morgan Crossing location, at 15775 Croydon Drive.

Mini snack bags of Kernels popcorn are sure to bring joy! You will soon be able to order snack bags in a variety of flavours, that will be delivered directly to the classroom. It's a tasty way to raise funds for Sunnyside. A notice will be sent home soon.

Thank you for attending and contributing to our annual Pancake Breakfast. Through your generosity, we raised a total of $2460, and donated half to the White Rock / South Surrey Sources Food Bank. A big thank you to all our wonderful volunteers and our indulgent sponsors, RBC Royal Bank, Drive Motorsports, Starbucks, Superstore, and Thrifty Foods.

We hope you had a great time at the hockey game! Through ticket sales, we raised $185 toward our fundraising efforts. Special thanks to the Surrey Eagles for supporting our community.

The students love hot lunch days, parents love getting a day off from making a lunch, and it's one of our biggest fundraisers, so order today! Online ordering for January to March is open.

Hot lunch is run entirely by volunteers, and we need help weekly. Visit the hot lunch page of our PAC website or Contact Colleen, our hot lunch coordinator, for more information.

Looking to get rid of those holiday bottles? The PAC has an Express account at the Return-It Depot. Place all refundable containers in a clear, plastic bag. Print a label from the kiosk, stick the label to the bag, and drop the bag into the bin. The Sunnyside PAC account # is 888-888-8888. It's quick and easy!

A friendly reminder that your child must be able to unbuckle themselves and exit the car safely to be able to use the Kiss and Go. Please do not park and wait in your vehicle during drop off, as it impedes traffic flow.

During pick-up, you are welcome to wait in your car, but kindly begin the queue at the front of the line (closest to 159 St), and do not leave your vehicle.

Shop, dine, and help Sunnyside raise funds effortlessly!
