What is a PAC?

The PAC is the Parent Advisory Council.

PAC members: All Sunnyside parents/guardians are members of the PAC, and can attend meetings. Administrators and staff may be invited to become non-voting members.

PAC executives: PACs annually elect the PAC executives, usually consisting of a chair, vice-chair, secretary, treasurer, and other members of the Council, as the membership decides.

PAC voting: All Sunnyside parents/guardians can vote at general PAC meetings. Administrators and staff do not vote, unless they are also a Sunnyside parent/guardian.

Sunnyside PAC goals

Our goal is to promote the education and welfare of our students

- by strengthening communication between parents and the administration,
- by building our community through school events that promote belonging and celebration,
- by encouraging parent involvement in the school,
- by enhancing extracurricular opportunities for our students through fundraisers, and
- by providing opportunities for children and families to participate in charitable giving.
