Friday, March 6 is Movie Night at Sunnyside! Admission is free! Doors open at 6 pm and the movie will begin at 6:30 pm. Students are encouraged to bring a blanket or a pillow to sit on the gym floor, while they enjoy a movie with their friends. There will be a few tables and chairs set up at the rear of the gym for parents. *Children must be accompanied by an adult. Pizza, popcorn, treats, and drinks will be available for purchase. Cash only please.

We are looking for volunteers to help with set up, to help with the concession stand, and to clean up after the movie. Please sign up online at: Movie Volunteers.

Hot lunch is run by volunteers, and this Friday, March 6 is Hot Dog Day! We cook and wrap all the hot dogs in the PAC room, and share a lot of laughs, but we need a little extra help! Please sign up online at: Hot Lunch Sign Up.

The students love hot lunch days, parents love getting a day off from making lunch, and it's one of our biggest fundraisers, so order today! Online ordering for March is still open. Ordering for April, May, and June will be available soon.

Thank you for ordering and supporting Sunnyside through our Kernels fundraiser. The first batch went out on February 26 to the delight of many students (and staff members!). The next 2 delivery dates are March 4 and 11. The snack bags will be delivered directly to the classrooms. Special thanks to Ms. Robb and the students of Division 8 for managing this fundraiser.

Hot Cross Buns! Need we say more? The Sunnyside PAC is teaming up with Cobs Bread (South Point) to offer our families delicious, freshly baked Hot Cross Buns through their Dough Raiser Program. Stay tuned for more information.

The PAC is pleased to announce that Sunnyside's 6th annual Fun Fair will be on Friday, May 29. A huge THANK YOU to all those who offered to help run the event! In early April, an online sign-up sheet, with tasks and times, will be emailed to all the parents and guardians who completed the volunteer notice. Also, on Wednesday, April 15, at 6:30pm, we will be hosting a special PAC meeting devoted to the Fun Fair. Hope to see you all there.

Thank you for dining out and enjoying a few slices to help our school! The February Blaze Pizza Night raised $160 for Sunnyside. We are very grateful to Blaze for supporting our fundraising efforts.

Every year in June, we hold an AGM, where new PAC executives are voted in for the following year. Several of our PAC executives will be leaving Sunnyside at the end of this school year, and their positions will need to be filled.
