Message from the pac chair

Hello Sunnyside parents and guardians,

Hope everyone is keeping well. It is starting to feel like we are coming to the tail end of this pandemic. The world is opening up and hopefully we will soon be back to a new normal.

A friendly reminder that the deadline to donate for the Web Climber is fast approaching, and if you have not done so, please donate generously. It is for our children!

We will be providing an update on our fundraising efforts at this month's PAC meeting. All parents and guardians are always welcome, so please join us via Zoom.

Stay safe, stay well, stay blessed,

Azam

In case you missed it, our parent community is raising funds for a new playground structure. Our deadline of February 12 to raise the funds is fast approaching! Due to current restrictions and time constraints, we are keeping it simple with straight donations to the project.

  • If you would like to discuss a business contribution, please email PAC Fundraising Executives Megan and Jenica at fundraising@sunnysidepac.ca.

Hot Lunch will resume February 18th. Last day to order and pay for the order is Wednesday, February 9. Visit: munchalunch.com/schools/SunnysideBC and place your order by February 9th. If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at sunnysidehotlunch@gmail.com.

Spirit Days

  • Wednesday, February 23: Pink Shirt Day. Wear pink and take a stand against bullying.

When purchasing fresh, delicious COBS Bread, mention Sunnyside and we will receive 5% of the sale price. Help us raise funds for some wonderful things for our school. Applicable to 2 nearby South Surrey locations:

All those refundable holiday bottles taking up too much space? We have the solution! Bag them and drop them off at any Return-It Depot. The Sunnyside PAC has an Express account that is open all year long. Our account/phone # is 888-888-8888.

With so much construction around the school, please be mindful of pick up & drop off locations. The Kiss and Go, located in the upper parking lot by the front entrance, is an area to safely drop your child off before school. Your child must be able to unbuckle and exit the car independently, from the passenger's side, and head to class. Keep in mind that this is not an area to park and wait.
