Message from the pac chair
HAPPY NEW YEAR !
As our kids return to school we encourage you all to remind them that they are a part of a community. To look around and ask "What can I do to make a difference in another student's day? How can I improve the spirit in my school?". Encourage participation, initiative, and above all kindness.
As parents, we lead hectic lives, and often a kind word or simple acknowledgement can make all the difference. From all of us on PAC we wish you a happy new year and we look forward to the rest of the school year together. Let's make it amazing!

Interested in joining the PAC for the 2019/20 school year? After this, my second year, I will be stepping down as Chair. I'd like to encourage all parents interested in a position to speak with a member of the PAC exec. We have worked hard to organize and streamline in order to allow new members to join and feel successful. I have felt privileged to be in this role and to have created new relationships. This is an amazing school and you should not hesitate to experience first hand the satisfaction of helping our kids and faculty.

Online ordering for January to March is open. Sign up and place all orders through the Munch a Lunch website.
Volunteers needed on a weekly basis between 11:15 and 12:30 to help sort and deliver the meals. Sign up online at: January 11, January 18, January 21, January 25.
pancake breakfast
Our annual pancake breakfast raised a record $1880 for Sources Food Bank. Thank you for your wonderful generosity! A huge thank you to the Superstore and Starbucks for donating all the food and beverages. It was a wonderful community collaboration for a worthy cause.
The Purdys chocolate fundraiser raised a total of $1662 for Sunnyside. Thank you! We hope you all enjoyed gifting and eating the delectable chocolate during the holidays!
Our goal is to keep our children safe. We need daily volunteers to keep the program running. We also need a parent to help set up the cones along the sidewalk and street every morning.
Return all the bottles you've enjoyed over the holidays and raise money for Sunnyside! The PAC has an Express account at the Return-It Depot. Simply put all your refundable containers in a clear, plastic bag and drop it off at any Express Return-It. Our account/phone # is 888-888-8888.
