What it is:

• • Our fundraising focus this year, as requested by our students and staff, is to bring more technology to the classrooms. Our current ratio of device to student is far from the recommended 1:6, and we need to raise funds to buy more.

  • Our students have access to a limited number of laptops and iPads. Also, students from the 12 portables need to retrieve them and carry them back and forth in bins, which is unsafe and time consuming.

  • We have requested district funding, however, it will cost an additional $15,000 to purchase new electronic devices.
