Unit 1: Kinematics

  • Distance, position,and displacement

  • Speed and velocity

  • Chapter 1 - Kinematics - Mr.Panchbhaya's learning Website

  1. Chapter 1: Motion in a Straight Line: Distance, position, and displacement | Speed and velocity | Acceleration | Comparing linear motion graphs | 5 key Motion with uniform acceleration equations | Acceleration near Earth's surface

  2. Chapter 2 : Motion in Two Dimensions: Motion in 2D (A Scale Diagram Approach | An Algebraic Approach)

Kinematics studies the motion of mechanical points, bodies and systems without considering the causes of motion. Position, velocity, acceleration, and time are the concepts involved in kinematics. It's often said to be the geometry of motion, and models these motions with algebra.
