The Integumentary System or the skin protects the body from infection, extreme temperatures, and maintains your balance of fluids, and synthesizes Vitamin D for your personal use.
The
hair

sweat
oil glands
skin
forms the integumentary system
The key to the system is layer as the skin is made of 3 layers.
Each having their own cells doing their own jobs.
Firstly, epidermis is the only layer we can see that's made of stratified squamous.
Just below, second layer is dermis that does most works of the skin is done
Like sweating, circulating blood, and feeling everything
Multiple layers on top of each like
Third and last layer, hypodermis (hypo mean "beneath" and "down") made of mostly of adipose/fatty tissues
Is another epidermis cell of a spider-shaped giving our skin its color.
Different skins around the world have about same number of melanocyte cells.
Dark skin peoples have more active melanocytes thus produce more melanin and pale skin people have less of these.
Spider-shaped skin cells that synthesizes/produce melanin.
Is the most common cell type in epidermis, being the building blocks fibrous protein keratin.
These cells constantly die and lose millions of them everyday.
It takes 4-6 weeks to completely replace entire our epidermis.
That's why when printing tatoos, the tattoo needs to be under epidermis
