Antibiotic
Antibiotic
All antibiotic use can lead to antibiotic resistance. Antibiotics kill germs like bacteria and fungi., bt the resistant survivors remain. Resistance traits can be inherited across generations and can also pass directly across germs by way of mobile genetic elements.
Plasmid: Circle of DNA moving between cells
Transposons: Small pieces of DNA going into and change a cell's overall DNA, which can move from chromosomes (carrying all essential genes form germ survival) to plasmids and back.
Phages: Viruses attacking germs and can carry DNA across germs
