Louyang Dailies

Accessing these Dailies

Once you reach Base Level 100 you can start doing Luoyang dailies.  From Louyang, head south a couple of times until you reach this zone.  Once here inspect your minimap.

Note the four circles at the bottom right of the minimap above.  Each of these represents a daily and one turns blue for every daily you complete out here.  Each daily rewards you with some materials for upgrading the Divine Tree and give some base exp and job exp when completed.

Near the top of your quest log on the right side of your screen will show some blue quests indicating dailies.  Sometimes you’ll see blue markers on the minimap indicating where to go but there are usually a few dalies that don't show up on your minimap.  Use your quest log to find easy quests.

Wasteland Minigames

There are three minigames that are initiated by speaking to Tristan out in the Wasteland.  These will inevitably show up in your dailies list so you’ll be forced to do each of these sooner or later.

Each minigame has ten difficulties and offers first time clear rewards for each difficulty, per minigame.  These reward you with spirit tree materials, boss materials, and zenny.  Clearing these on a difficulty you’ve already completed results in no reward but finishes the daily for that minigame.  Once you clear all ten difficulties you can just do the lv1 version for a quick clear whenever it comes up as a daily.

Monster Photography

This minigame requires you to take a photo that meets a set of requirements shown at the top of the screen.  The example below shows requirements for your photo at the top, and some skill buttons at the bottom right.  These skills are only accessible if you are not in camera mode so close out of camera mode if you need to use them.  You have to match anywhere from 2 to 3 sets of monsters to win depending on difficulty.

In the example above the picture needs to have no more than 5 skeletons and spear goblins (skeleton + spear goblin < 5) and more than 1 mace goblin (mace goblin > 1).  Make sure you understand what it’s asking for at the top before you take your picture.

Use the skills at the bottom right of your screen to modify the battlefield to make it easier

Card Matching

This minigame requires you to match cards.  In early stages you’re matching photographs of cards but further in you must match the photograph to the cards affect such as the one shown below that matches the Randgris card to Refine Atk +50.  This will take you a while since you need to learn what all the cards do in order to clear this effectively.

Notice the top left corner which has a lightbulb icon followed by x3.  Pressing this button will unveil the next pair from the top left towards the bottom right.  I have three uses of this right now but as I clear stages I may earn more.  To win you have to match the entire board three times in order to win.  Use your free matches sparingly until the last round in case your brain craps out on you midway through the board and you forget where the cards were.

Monster Quiz

This game requires you to memorize properties about monsters including their type, element, color, and physical properties.  For example it may ask you how many bipedal mobs there are (that have two legs).

The top of the screen shows a description of what to count, such as all the plant monsters as shown below.  Here you look at all the enemies shown on your screen and count all the ones that are “plant” type, then click on the text field at the bottom and type in that number and click submit.

As the difficulty gets higher so do the questions, as well as a larger monster diversity.  Some of these seem like trick questions since monsters that appear to be yellow may actually be “red” so you’ll probably get tripped up on a few of these.

Notice that the bottom right also has a skip button like the monster photography game.  You always have one skip and can earn more so on higher difficulties try to guess to earn another skip and skip enough to win instantly whenever you can.
