Third Job Boost

The level 120 boost for new players has been removed from the game! This page is still here for historic purposes.

New characters will be dropped at a new zone, the Critera Academy. Here the main quest will have you complete a few simple tasks to level you to 10.

After this is done the main quest will become Warrior's Picked Journey and the NPC Heger Leafa will offer you the option to boost your character to third job. This will raise your base level to 120 and your job level to 60 at third job.

This can only be done once per account so choose wisely! If you are unsure you can always create dummy accounts to try a few classes out to decide what you want to boost. To use the boost you say yes, then he will tell you to head north into the academy to pick a job.

Upon entering the academy the NPC in the middle of the room will ask you a series of questions in order to suggest a job for you to pick. This is merely a suggestion so pick what you want, not what the game thinks you should play.

After taking this survey click on the Change Job button near the minimap above as shown below. This will open a job change screen that allows you to look at each job and preview some skills to help you decide on what to play.

Swipe up and down on the far left to switch base jobs, then tap on the job icon to the right of it (in this example, the purple icon) to select that job. In this case I've selected the Ninja Job. Tap on any of the six job skills to see a video preview. Select the job you want and tab Go Change Jobs when ready.

Each job has six skills that you can tap on to watch a video preview of to get a feel for what the job can do. When you're content with a class click on the Go Change Jobs button. This will auto path you to the job trainer for the class you've selected.

Talk to your trainer and choose to boost to that job, then select a build. Some classes only offer multiple builds like Ninja which has three, and others only have one build like Royal Guard. The trainer will then give you a starter weapon and offhand for your chosen job & build. You will also receive headwear(s) for your job that you'd normally unlock for reaching this point.

My new Ninja starting out using a Physical blade build which started me with a blade, an offhand, and a headgear for my job.

After you complete this step the trainer will send you back outside to talk to Leafa once more to get a set of starter gear. This gear is the same no matter what class you chose to start as. It seems to give both physical and magical stats but this gear will soon be replaced by upgradeable starter gear that's much better.

Fourth Job

New accounts, or accounts that have not unlocked a fourth job already will be able to finish the quest to boost your fourth job on day two. If your already an established player with fourth job unlocked then you can do the fourth job quest immediately on day one.

This questline is the red quest on top of your quest log on the far right. Follow through this quest until you unlock your fourth job.
