ABC 911

1. Summary

All machines, facilities, devices, structures etc. are linux machines, or edges, with several sensors: temperature, smoke, vibration, sound, visual sensors and so on. There may be privacy issues. But, ABC is just a system. No human being can access to those data beyond predetermined legal procedures.

When ABC detects abnormality, the counterfeit process is automatically started. For example, if a fire is detected via camera or smoke sensors in a house, the subsequent processes may includes;

• Start sprinkles attached on the ceil.

• Broadcast or unicast the scene to the related organizations such as 911.

• Send personnels to investigate the cause of the fire.

• Report the accident to related parties to prevent reoccurrence of similar cases.

But prevention is better than cure.

• All personal computing devices and various machines are also equipped with various sensors to detect abnormalities in human bodies or mechanical operations.

• When an abnormality is detected by a device or a machine, the abnormality is reported to the linux distro in the cloud, which is the counterpart of the device or the machine

• The linux distro again reports it to ABC 911 system.

For example, if Alice's smartwatch detects abnormal heartbeats of her, it reports the heartbeats ratio per minute to its counterpart linux distro in the cloud, and the distro relays the data to the ABC 911 with related information such as her age, sex, blood type, height, weight, her medical history including the previous heart disease of her or her family etc. Then, based on those information, ABC 911 immediately prepares and sends appropriate medical staff and devices to her.

Another example is that, if an induction cooktop turns on for a long time, there may be some problems such as the cooker has forgotten to turn it off or the cooker may just cook a food which needs quite long boiling. Anyway, the abnormality is reported to the counterpart linux distro of the kitchen, and the distro relays the abnormality to ABC 911 with additional information such as the manager of the kitchen, the location, floor map etc.

ABC 911 scrutinizes all the abnormalities reported from linux distros in the cloud, and initiates proper countermeasures.

Automation

Even though ABC 911 sees everything and whatever goes on in the city, there will be no privacy issue in ABC 911 since it's a pure system: Human intervention only in emergencies.
