ABC City(hereinafter, "the City") is a model of new international and logistic cities to be built by 146+ BRI nations for increased and smoother trades.
The City provides a new international currency and settlement system, called ABC.
The City is to demonstrate a new social system which 146+ nations can adapt for their whole nations or some restricted regions. The key features of the new social system are (1) sustainability, (2) automation, (3) ET(Everything is Intelligent), (4) GasS(Governments as a Service), (5) HoME(Humans on Machines & Equality)

It is often thought that after the pillars are erected, the roof is raised. But, not. Without the roof, the pillars can't be stand up strait.
ABC Bank and its 100+ subsidiaries are pillars to support the roof of a new social system embodied in ABC City(hereinafter, "the City"). We are coding ABC and building the City at the same time, because they are pillars and roof.
The three main goals of ABC Company are (1) to gather R&D expenses and capital of ABC Bank, (2) to develop some or all of the 100+ subsidiaries of ABC Bank, and (3) to design and construct the City.
Those three goals are interrelated, any goal can't achieved without the achievements of the other two. As the City is the test fields of the other two goals, the other two can't reach its destination without the City.
One more aspect is that ABC Bank can be applied to any country without special treaty among nations and legislations of new laws in the country it applies to. Gold is gold in any country, and bank is just a bank. ABC Bank is just a bank in gold standard.
However, 100+ subsidiaries of ABC Bank can't applied to current cities and countries even with some kind of treaties and legislations because they are NOT just new technologies, but the reformations of the country also. Enormous social changes are inevitable to those nations where those subsidiaries are adopted.
So, the City is (1) to test and perfect the technologies used in the 100+ subsidiaries, (2) to show to the people worldwide what can be achieved by those technologies, and (3) for nations to prepare the adaptation of the ABC ecology.
Jejudo(제주도)
ABC City is designed as a model of hundreds of new cities to be built by 146+ BRI nations in their own territories. When designing the City, several requirements were kept in mind.
The City must be;
minimal for any of 146+ BRI nations to replicate it.
able to promote the development of each nation.
a portal between the nation and the other BRI nations and the world.
a model of a sustainable economy, coexistence among people, and coexistence both people and the nature.
a testbed of a full automatic or full autonomous capitalism(全自動 資本主義),
This page describes how the City design can be applied to some area of Jejudo, Korea, such as Altrer(알뜨르).
Xiong'an New Area(雄安新区), China
The ABC City is designed by benchmarking a new Chinese city, Xiong'an. However, different from Xiong'an, ABC City is designed to be a model of hundreds of new cities to be built by 146+ BRI nation in the future.
The BRI plan is to connect 146+ nations via ocean, land and air.
The 146+ nations need new cities to be hub and portal of their trades and global logistics.
The new cities need a standardized social system interchangeable among them.
ABC City aims to be a model of those new cities, and ABC is the standardized social system.
ABC City is a cooperation like Samsung, Hyundai or LG. So, all the people in the City are either employees of the City or visitors, normally tourists.
You may regard ABC City as a futuristic and compact form of Ulsan, a Korean city, which is almost owned by Hyundai(현대) Motors and its employees, or the Hwasung city, which has been totally transformed by Samsung and its semiconductor factory.
However, ABC city is also quite different from any city in the world.
The City is designed to be replicable by 146+ BRI nations. Ulsan or Hwasung city is NOT replicable by any nation.
A few cities are specialized for a specific product or industry. For example, Ulsan city is specialized for automobile industry, and Hwasung city is for semiconductors. But, ABC city is not for a specific product, but for a new social system, neither capitalism, nor socialism.
On the surface, ABC City resembles a corporate city, but its core is completely different.
The City is designed not to pollute the environment. For example;
All vehicles are electric.
All electricity are green, especially using ocean wind farms.
All products are packaged in reusable containers, neither plastic bags, nor aluminium cans.
All detergent is an eco-friendly, and used water is recycled for any use.
However, the most important factor is the sharing economy described below.
The most effective and powerful environmental policy is the sharing economy of the City.
All lands are owned by the City.
From bicycles to yacht, from toothbrushes to large mentions, most tangible and intangible assets in the City are owned by the City. That is, private properties in the City are less than one tenth(1/10) compared to other cities.
The city manages every asset in the City, and there is no unused vehicles, TV or washing machines in garages for years, or even for weeks.
The number of cars per 100,000 citizens are less than one third(1/3) of other cities because of ABC Traffic System. The same is true for other assets such as electronics, machines, furnitures and so on.
For example, private properties can be put into one or two travel trunks in ordinary apartments in the City, not to mention of all apartments being owned by the City.
How can ABC City meet the entire demands of the city with much lesser assets compared to other cities? The secret lies in complete automation described below.
The key difference of the City from other cities in the world is full automation. For example,
All governmental offices such as IRS, city halls, patent office and so on are unmanned online application.
All vehicles are driven by FSD(Full Self Driving).
Even the toilet is automatically cleaned after use.
All citizens are provided three meals a day, and the City knows who like or dislike which foods or which ingredients.
The medical infrastructure knows the current health status, family disease history, and past diseases of each citizen. It determines which doctor, which hospital, which medical devices, which and medicines are best for the patient.
All doctors cooperate with an AI doctor in their daily works.
Even, all citizens are insured by one insurance policy, in which the insurance installments of one citizen is different from all other citizens. That is to say, 200,000 kinds of insurance services for 200,000 citizens. Because the City knows everything about everyone or everything in the city to calculate the insurance premiums and installments of each.
The City is designed and being coded to be a model of a full autonomous capitalism(전자동 자본주의).
One of the main goals of ABC City is to educate people in 146+ BRI nations.
The main subjects to learn in the City are Information Technologies and related subjects such as mathematics, physics, chemical and biology.
Humanity courses are also provided such as histories, social subjects and literatures.
From kindergartens to graduate schools, the study fee of a student is just ABC 1T(about $1) per month.
Students are from 146+ BRI nations.
The students are learning in the City, and will build their own ABC Cities in their own countries.
All classes are online.
Every student learn on her own pace.
There is no glade or class. Anyone can learn any subject in any difficulty together with anyone.
All video lectures and text books are already made and freely available.
The education infrastructure knows each student's everyday activities: what she has learned today, what is her interest, with whom she is studying with, who are her friends, what profession she want to be and so on.
Each student is guided by her own AI professor from kindergarten to graduate schools. AI is not just guide the progress of each student, it also learns together.
Imagine a student and her A.I. study together, try to solve a problem, and plan weekend schedule. That's what we are coding now.
Regardless of the locations where ABC Cities is, they all follow the same compartmentalization as the roles of the Cities are same one another:
The gateway between the nations they belong to and the other nations, especially BRI participants.
An educational city that nurtures talented people who will open up the future of the 146+ BRI nations.
A tourism city where people can see and learn the future of their nations.
The district compartmentalization of ABC City is quite different from any other city in the world.
All vehicles except bicycles are FSD(Full Self Driving). So, there is no traffic light.
The public transportation is sky rails. So, the ground shapes of the city are quite different.
All citizens are provided with three meals a day. So, there is no ordinary market or restaurant.
Below are brief peculiarities of the City, and some are unique to the City of Altrer, Jeju, one of the best locations for the City.

A.I. in City Design
Actually, A.I. is quite useful in designing a city, especially determining who reside in which parts of the city, where to construct industrial zones, parks, schools and so on.
Before applying A.I., the following should be done;
How many the population is
What percentage of citizens belong to which profession
How many and how old students are.
Whether students reside in dormitory or their home
What kinds of products and services are necessary for daily lives of citizens and so on.
After determining the factors above, then we can use A.I. to determine the optimal positions or locations of each facilities which may lead to the minimal transportation expense of the entire city.
Though this page shows just a concept drawings of the City, A.I. will be widely used in designing the City in detail. If you participate in the ABC project, you will see the entire process.
If constructed in Jejudo, at least one side of the City is a seashore. For the reason below, we can build very peculiar road system there.
Jejudo is the most visited tourist region in Korea, and the City is planned to be a tourist place.
Land fish farms are important business in Jejudo.
The main public transportation is sky rails.
Jejudo is the best place for seashore wind farms.
So, we designed a public transportation system combining Venice of Italy, a large land fish farm, MagLev skytrains, and seashore leisure facilities for tourists. As all the facilities are owned by the City, the prices of those services must be quite reasonable.
The canals marked by blue lines are also rails of sky trains laid between districts.
Readers may curious how to maintain the quality of the water in the canal. Of course, we have a good plan.
As the City itself is a unique cooperation, most companies are subsidiaries of the City.
90%+ of citizens are employed by the City because the City owns 50%+ shares of all companies.
Everyday, the ERP(Enterprise Resource Management) of the City determines who does what works where when and how, and evaluates the performance of each facility, machine and worker.
Because all the work processes in each company are optimized by the City ERP, logistics among processes are also optimized.
Similar to cars in the City, all logistic machines are also FSD(Full Self Driving).
In ordinary cities, ZERO inventory is just an ideal state, but, in the City, it's real.
The ERP of the City knows everything about everything. For example, who has the skill and knowledge of what kind of jobs, which machine can produce what amount of what product and so on. Base on those data, the ERP generates optimal production plans for each citizen, each machine and each facility.
There is a reason of why industrial zones are scattered to the four corners of the City| To minimize the total moving distance of all citizens to their work.
The appearance of the shopping mall of the City is similar to those of other cities, but, its services and products and operation is quite different. Some of the reasons are;
90%+ of all the assets tangible and intangible(such as cars, furnitures, electronics) are owned by the City. So, citizens need not to buy car accessaries, furnitures, computers, TVs, bicycles and so on.
All citizens are provided three meals per day. So, there is rather few traditional restaurants, markets or marts. For example, restaurants in the City are serviced by professional cooks employed by the City.
All books are electronic, all documents are online, and all toilets are bidets. So, there is no or few demands on papers.
Sanitary facilities are all owned and managed by the City. So, there is no public bath, which is quite popular in Korea and Japan.
Again, more than 90% of citizens are employed by the City. That is, most doctors, teachers, hair/beauty workers, cooks are all public employees, and their performances are measured everyday to compensate in accordance with. So, the commercial zone also is operated by the City.
The area of the commercial area is relatively small because most tangible products are provided by the City.
The City is an education city of which goal is to nurture people to build and operate ABC Cities in 146+ BRI nations. However, the operation of the educational facilities of the City is quite different from those of nations worldwide.
From kindergarten to graduate schools, all students are given single dormitory rooms.
Three meals a day are provided at a very reasonable price.
Campuses of the City are meeting places of students rather than their classrooms.
All kinds of leisure and sports facilities are in the education zone.
IT and robotics are the main subjects, not to mention of basic sciences.
Readers may doubt what is the plan for the City to meet the budgets of those facilities? Our solution is quite simple.
The tuition fee of each student regardless of her age is just ABC 1T(about $1) per month.
All lectures are online using already made videos by renowned teachers and professors.
All text books are digital, open source and free.
Schools are just spaces for students to meet each other, do team projects, and play soccers etc.
The dormitory fee is a half of similar rooms in most nations.
All meals are cooked by automated facilities which need less than one fifth of labor compared to ordinary kitchens.
All food materials are cultivated or obtained by the City via automated farms.
Most labors necessary to operate the economic zone are students themselves with the help of IT, robotics and A.I. technologies.
The City provides various arbeits for students to earn their dormitory fees and daily expenses. If students from 146+ BRI nations are supported by their governments or companies, their economic burdens will be even more lessened.
The education zone is quite large considering the area of the city. Two main reasons are: (1) education is the most important mission of the City, (2) campuses are a kind of self-sufficient economy where students themselves produce their daily consumer goods including three meals per day.
The residences of the City also are quite different from other cities over the world.
All residences are hotel types, owned and managed by the City.
Interior and exterior of all buildings are aesthetic and artistic.
Covid Free. All rooms are in negative pressure.
Residential space is comparatively large because of no ordinary kitchen and no laundry room. Those services are mainly provided by the City. Even, children and youths are primarily reside in their dormitories 5 days a week.
All kinds of products including three meals per day are delivered via logistic tunnels and small autonomous delivery cars.
For all houses, room temperatures, humidities and so on are controlled by the Residence Server of the City.
They are more like hotels than ordinary apartments or houses. However, the living expenses of the City is much lower than that of similar facilities in current cities. The reason is precisely explained in the ABC Specification page.
The location of residential areas must be near to any places in the city, especially industrial zones where most citizens visit 5 days per week. That's why the areas are located neither the center nor the boundaries of the City.
Most citizens are employed by the City, and the annual working hours of the citizens are less than 1,000 hours, about a half of that of South Korea[Figure - Annual working hours]. The parks and leisure zone is designed for both residents and tourists to enjoy their non-working times.
The City pursues “lifetime sports” because they can be enjoyed by participants at any time of their lives. They include bicycling, cross‐country skiing, figure skating, swimming, jogging, golf, backpacking, badminton and just plain exercising.
All facilities are owned and managed by the City.
The City knows who likes which facilities, exercises and games, how well she does on what activities, when to visit which places and so on. It's to recommend more suitable activities and friends to play with.
Most outdoor activities are done over the entire city, not limited to the leisure zone.
The park and leisure zone is a relatively small area, because many activities are done outside the City. For example, yachting, wind sail, para sail, cliff climbing, cycling and so on.
The hotel zones face all other zones except the education zone.
The City is a model of hundreds of ABC cities to be built in 146+ BRI nations.
In addition to domestic tourists, there will be numerous foreign visitors to see the future of their nations and cities.
The hotel zone has higher buildings than other areas to accommodate 100,000+ tourists from the world.
Visitors will experience the ABC ecosystem just like the residents of the City.
All facilities in the City pursue minimalism.
The main purpose of the hotel zone is not to provide lodgments, but to provide the opportunity to experience the ABC ecosystem, a full autonomous social system.
The savvy readers may noticed that there is no public or governmental offices in the city. The R&D zone is the core of the City, produce governments, and itself is the government of the City.
The meaning of the term "Government" here may be different from common sense. We use the term to denote "all intellectual labors except R&D labors". In other words, all white color jobs except R&D are governmental services.
R&D is to make and update the ABC ecosystem.
ABC is to automate all intellectual labors except R&D.
So, R&D is to automate everything except itself.
The R&D of the City is projected in the order below.
Automate the current governmental organizations, and change them into unmanned systems. Let's call it ABC Government.
Automate the current social infrastructures such as transportation, education, medicals, markets, business managements, planning production and so on, then merge it into the ABC Government.
That's it. All intellectual labors except R&D are melted into an automated and unmanned system, what we call "Government". And, that's what R&D zone does.
In summary, ABC Government does all kinds of works which machines can do or better than people.
Below are some departments of the ABC Government, quite different from ordinary governments worldwide.

Just like the industrial zones produce products, and the commercial zones produce services, the R&D zones produce governments, the City itself.
Every citizens and tourists(hereinafter, "person") use the same market and the same banking system: ABC Market & ABC Bank.
Whether online or offline, all shops in the City belongs to and owned by ABC Market(hereinafter, "the Market"), and the market is owned by the City. So, all the employees belong to the City.
The Market knows everything in the market: what products are sold what prices at which shops, who buys or sells what products and how much, and so on.
The Market determines what products to produce, producing how much, produced by whom, where, and when etc.
Orders and payments are done in real time via 6G network which will be applied to the City.

A. ABC Watch & Payments
All the people in the city use ABC Watch. ABC Watch is quite different from those of Apple and Samsung.
Everyone visiting or residing will be given an ABC Bank account. The payment method of the Bank is ABC Watch.
ABC Watch is a server-based dumb terminal. It doesn't need any cutting edge CPU or GPU at all.
The Watch only needs display, 6g module, waterproof and hard enough.

B. ABC Convenience Stores
The City manages and operate all the stores including convenience stores.
Different from GS25, CU and 7Eleven, the convenience stores in the City are normally places to receive or keep goods ordered online, and return reusable packaging devices. They are more like unmanned cafe than 7Eleven or GS25. Or, you may think it as a kind of emart 24 where all the products are sold in reusable packages.
Imagine a Korean unmanned convenience store operating 24 hrs, but all the products are sold in standardized bottles and boxes, not using any disposable packaging materials.
The ABC stores use larger spaces than 7Eleven etc., because they are cafes at the same time where people can eat foods, take rests, meet friends and so on. For example, when a citizen or a visitor orders a meal from a Chinese restaurant, the meal is delivered to a convenience store near to the orderer. Of course, the payment and delivery status are informed via ABC watch.

C. ABC Reusables Containers
There is no packages like plastic wrappers and disposable bottles in the City. It's due to environmental reasons.
We designed standard bottles for various kinds of liquids such as cokes, water, milk, beers and so on.
We also designed various reusable boxes for various products.
We call those bottles and boxes as ABC containers, and they are properties of the City.
Using ABC watches, people freely take any reusable containers from container machines everywhere in the city, and return any used one to collecting devices which are also located everywhere.
Of course, the City knows who borrowed which container when, where, and whether she have returned it or not via her ABC watch.
All the products sold in the city are delivered in various but standardized containers: reusable bottles and boxes etc. Those containers are collected by ABC collecting machines. See ABC Reusables and Vending Machines for technical specification.
Contrary to current education systems of nations, the education system of ABC City is owned and managed by the ABC Government.
From kindergarten to graduate schools, all lectures are online with pre-made digital contents.
All textbooks are digital, open source and free.
The academic year system is rather formal. Every student can learn every subject with every difficulties.
From kindergartens, each student's grades are managed by the ABC government.
Education department knows who has learned what, how long and how much, and recommends appropriate professions for each citizen.

The Transportation department operates all the vehicles in the City.
It calculate the optimal path and speed of each vehicle to maximize the total benefits of the City. That is, to minimize the total cost of traffic of the city.
It designs, develops, produces, manages and updates all vehicles.

This department monitors and tracks the health of every citizen.
It produces all kinds of devices, medicines, and machines in health industry.
It develops A.I. medical assistance systems for doctors, nurses and other medical professions.
It selects medical students, and provides doctor certificates and licenses to qualified personnels.
It determines who treat which patient when and where, and monitor all medical processes like diagnosis, prescription, treatments and so on.

The meaning of the term "housing" is somewhat different in ABC City. This department is NOT limited to residential planning, but to provide sufficient living and working space to all citizens and workers. This department utilizes the SpaceWeb architecture.
It determines which facility is constructed where, when and how large.
According to jobs and family factor etc., it determines who(or which machine) use how much space where and when.

It's to provide three meals per day to all citizens. The meals are NOT just ordinary food of schools or army, but those of 5-star hotel buffet. The key to reduce cost is automation and information.
It manages all food materials, machines, devices and cooks in the City.
It determines who makes what foods where, when and how.
It also determines what foods are delivered to whom by what transportation to where and when.

This department determines which facility, machine and citizen consume how much energy when where and why. Its goal is to produce energy necessary to meet the demand of the City, and to devise systems and innovate machines to minimize energy consumption.
It designs various machines and facilities to produce and store energy.
It determines how much energy is necessary for which facility, houses, factory, machine, citizen and so on.
It finds out how to save energy consumptions of each entity.

The City owns 50+% of shares of all the companies operating in the City. That is, about 50-% of shares of each company are owned by others than the City. By analogy, the City is the holding company of all the companies in the City. The goal of this department is to promote and support companies in the City.
The products and services produced in the City are for citizens both in the City and other cities.
All the citizens are in fact employees of the City.
The department regulates how to start and operate businesses in the City.
The department determines which company employs who, produces what, operates what machines, delivers products when, where and how.

The City can be constructed anywhere in the world, but it needs enormous budgets. Its locations are limited to where the budgets can be recovered in a short term.
At present, August, 2022, there are two candidate locations. One is South-west of Jejudo island, South Korea, called Altrer(알뜨르) Airport Remains, and the other is a North-west region of Xinjiang, China. Though this page focuses on the first candidate, Altrer, Jejudo, all applies to the second, Xinjiang.
The Altrer region is not in use for more than 70 years due to military issues of the nation. If those issues are resolved in any way, the region surely is one of the best options because;
Jejudo(제주도) is the best touristic place visited by 12 million Koreans in 2021, and the City is an precedented touristic city as (1) there is nothing like the city in the world and (2) the differences are quite awesome.
The City is a showcase of a new society or a social system, and Jejudo is the only region where no visa is required. Worldwide tourists and students can visit the City without any hurdle.
Lands are quite expensive in Korea, but the Alter(알뜨르) region is owned by the Korean government. The land can be freely available for some years If the City can provide something as valuable as the military role of that region. And, we have that something.
