Obey the Rule

The weather is hot. Two boys wanted to go swimming but were not permitted by their mother. According to the mother, children who swim in the river oftentimes meet an accident. When the boys were not permitted, they sulked. They did not eat and stayed in their room. After several minutes, their friends came calling and yelling at them.
“Alvin, Andy, come on. Let’s go and swim. Our friends are waiting.” But our mother does not want us to go.” “Then, do not tell her.” Okay. But let us not be away long.” “Alvin, Andy, where are you?” their mother shouted. The mother went out to look for her children. She was already in tears when no one was answering. “Mrs. Villanueva, your son Alvin almost drowned. It was good he was saved by his friends.” She quickly ran to the place.
“Mother, we are sorry for not obeying you. Alvin almost drowned.” “I am sorry, too, Mother,” Alvin apologized. “From now on, we will listen and obey you. This is a lesson for both of us
