Discussion
Talent means the ability of an individual to perform many activities such as singing, dancing, painting, writing poems, playing musical instruments, and doing activities
according to the theory of multiple intelligences.
According to Dr. Howard Gardner, a psychologist at Harvard University who wrote Frames of Mind, a person has a wide variety of talents. This is known as the Theory of Multiple Intelligences.
Linguistic Intelligence - An individual with this kind of talent is good in writing poems and stories, and is good in reading and declamation.
Logical-mathematical Intelligence - An individual who is talented in math is good in numbers.
Musical Intelligence- A person with this talent is good in singing and in playing different kinds of instruments. He or she likes to watch concerts.
Bodily-kinesthetic Intelligence - A person with this kind of talent is good in sports and games. He or she is good in dancing or performing different exercises.
Visual-spatial Intelligence - The visual-spatial intelligence is seen in the individual’s talent in painting and drawing.
Naturalist Intelligence- This kind of intelligence is seen in those who are good in taking care of plants and animals. They love to watch trees, corals, and nature.
Intrapersonal Intelligence - A person with this kind of talent prefers to do his or her work alone. He or she likes to work in a quiet place because it is here where he or she could think and do his or her work better.
Interpersonal Intelligence - A person with this talent is friendly and could easily deal with family, friends, and relatives. He or she always prefers to work with a group. He or she is excellent in group dynamic sessions.
