Discussion
Changes in the Community
There are many changes that happened in a community through time.
Houses built many years ago have to be renovated especially if it is made of
very light materials like nipa and bamboo. These houses are now made of
cement, while others are wood and galvanized iron sheets.
Even roads and bridges underwent changes. Now, there are cemented
roads and bridges as compared to 10 years ago.
Let us look at the changes that happened in Barangay San Isidro and see
if these changes benefited the community.
Population
Many years ago, there were very few houses in Barangay San Isidro.
There were very few families who lived in homes which were far apart from
each other. The population was sparse or few.
Now, houses are built close to one another. The number of people living
in these houses have increased. The place has become crowded. When too
many people live in houses placed close together in a community, the
population is dense. The community is now densely populated.
