Habitat - animals are found everywhere. The natural habitat where animals live. Most of the things animals need are found in their habitat. Animals live on land or in water.
On land - Animal land habitats include grasslands, forests, gardens, and deserts.
Monkeys, birds, and snakes live in forests.
Grasslands - are home to zebras and cheetahs.
There are animals that live in deserts, Deserts are very dry and hot places. These places do not have plenty of water. Camels live in a desert. They store water in their body.
Garden - grows flowers and fruit and has healthy soil. Butterflies and earthworms live in gardens.
In water - Some animals live in water. Water habitats of animals include the sea, ocean, pond, and river.
Big and small animals like sharks, octopuses, jellyfish, shrimps, salmons, and small fishes live in the ocean and sea.
Animals such as milkfish, tilapia, snails, ducks, turtles, frogs, and tadpoles are commonly found in a pond.
Many fishes are found in rivers.
On land and In water - There are animals that spend time both in water and on land. Examples are frogs and toads. Their lives begin in water. They stay in the water while they are young.
