Proverbs 9:9-12
The Beginning of Wisdom
9 Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still;
teach the righteous and they will add to their learning.
10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
11 For through wisdom your days will be many,
and years will be added to your life.
12 If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you;
if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer.
We learn about God's Wisdom in Scripture...Fearing the LORD is the beginning of wisdom...Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you...For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding...Wisdom increases joy and contentment...Wisdom is better than money...But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere...If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him...Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God!...How unsearchable are His judgments and how inscrutable His ways!...
God comforts us with His Great Wisdom...Let us believe in God and also believe in Jesus...Their wisdom protects us from all things and They will watch over us until we see Them in Eternity in Heaven...Getting and learning wisdom increases life's joy and contentment, it helps us lead an abundant life, when we follow the wisdom of Jesus' Teachings...One has God's wisdom for only short time on earth and in our earthly life, then we will go to Heaven and meet our Father and His Son...Then we will gain more understanding...Solomon and Paul had great earthly wisdom and passed it on to others...Then they went to meet God and heaven and others took over the task of carrying on God's Wisdom...Where our own knowledge is limited and ends, God's Wisdom is not...God's Wisdom is Timeless and Eternal...While we cannot fathom God's Wisdom, let us trust in the LORD, for this where wisdom starts...
