Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Romans 8:26-30
In All Things -God Works for the Good of Those Who Love Him
26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
Trusting in God is sometimes a difficult thing to do for me, especially when the times get tough and life and its journey does not go as I planned...But the Proverbs author tells us to trust in the LORD with all of our heart and lean not on our understanding of things...
So when we trust in the LORD we believe that does have a Grand Plan...And in this Grand Plan, He will work everything out in our lives according to His Plan, regardless of all the choices, paths and detours we make in our life...He may work His Plan so subtly that we find it difficult to see Him at work and may even miss it, or He may do it very abruptly, where we say "That must be God in my life."...
Regardless of how His Fate works into our life's fate, our faith in Him is the important thing...Thus our faith becomes our trusting Him regardless of these detours we have made from and away from Him, and no matter what has happened during those detours...Then we know that in our difficult times that God is working for the good in our lives when we have faith in Him and love Him...Because His Grand Plan is the way life will be and it shall be done according to His purpose...
