Jesus Came to Earth to Testify to the Truth
37 “You are a king, then!” said Pilate.
Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”
38 “What is truth?” retorted Pilate.
John 14:6-7
Jesus is the Truth
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
Faith is our Way to seek and find the Truth...Faith is our Way to the Truth...So our faith in God, helps us seek the Truth...And God's Word is Truth...So when we read His Word we are searching for Truth...We are seeking Truth through our faith in both God and His Son...And He says He LOVES those whose seek Him and love Him...
And we are to seek God...Moses wrote we are to seek God with all our heart and all our soul...Jeremiah wrote we are to seek God and we will find Him, when we seek Him with all of our heart...Solomon wrote in Proverbs that God will LOVE those who love Him, and those who seek Him will find Him...And Jesus said something similar to the author of Proverbs when He said, ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you...
Jesus stood up one day, and said that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life...So faith is a Way we seek the Truth...Faith is also a Way to live an an abundant life...So belief in Jesus, which is our faith, is a Way to seek the Truth and to live our lives...So Jesus is the Only One that have ever heard or read about that says He is Truth...He came to earth to testify to the Truth...He came to earth to testify to God's Word...
