Isaiah 40:28
Tired and Weary
28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Matthew 28:31
God Loves Each of Us
28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. 30 And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.31 So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
For me, I think that I look and try to understand life more, when I have troubles and my life is tough...So I try hard to understand God, especially when bad things happen to my family, my friends, and the ones I like...These troubles often challenge my faith with my Father and His Son...I think that is why my favorite Old Testament Book is the Book of Job...Job suffers tremendously, because God has allowed the evil one in his life...But by God allowing troubles in our lives, maybe one of the ways He wants us to seek Him...My thinking and reflecting on life is deeper in troubled times...
In trying to understand life, we are search for the meaning of life, and are searching for God to give life meaning...
When the Great Prophet Isaiah and Solomon teach us about theses things we cannot and will not understand, they tell us there are things we cannot and will not understand about God...This is because He is eternal and very, very complex...Therefore, there will always be things and questions we have, and answers we seek, because His understanding we cannot fathom...Solomon tells us in those things we cannot understand or fathom, look somewhere else...In those time, Solomon teaches us to trust in the LORD with all of our hearts, and lean on His understanding...Jesus, the wisest of all, tells us in the most unique way that God loves each of us...His Father has made us uniquely different and cares for us much more than He does for sparrows, and He even knows the number of hairs on our heads throughout our life...His Father, we are told, are worth much more than many sparrows...
