Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
John 14:1
Trust in God and Trust also in Jesus
1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.
Who you trust and what you trust in is a very important question...When we do not know what or who to trust things usually do not turn out for the good in our lives...We are created to trust someone or something...When we are very, very young we must trust in our parents, they have to take care of us...As we become teenagers we learn to take more care of ourselves and learn to trust different things and start to believe in different things (sometimes differing from our parents views and their trusts)...And as we get older, we continue to learn and grow to trust, maybe even different things...Trust gives one a feeling a confidence, that things in our lives will work out...Believing in and trusting in the right things make all the difference...
Jesus teaches us to trust His Father, but also to trust in Him...Trusting in the Father and Son does not mean understanding what they have done, or are what they are currently doing...But by trusting in the Father and His Son, we get a much needed foundation...When we trust Them, we have the most powerful of forces in our lives...When we trust in the Father and Son we know that we will persevere all of our lives and when we have worries, problems, and troubles we have the Light of the World to lean on and comfort us...Trusting in Them is the right thing to do...They are worthy of everyone's trust...
God gives us our free will, so we must watch each and everyday -what we do...The daily choices we make -and in what and who we trust make us who we are...After our parents raising us and the environment we were raised in will make much of our personality...Added to that our later choices and our current choices have all combined and make us who we are today...These daily choices and trusts have gotten us to where we are...Life can be so busy, that we lose sight of these daily choices and daily routines, and who we trust...The choices we have made throughout are lives, are sometimes are not looked at until we are older in life...These choices, beliefs, and trusts have now made us who we are today...Who and what we have believed and trusted in have take us down our road of life we are currently living...By trusting in both the Father and Son can and may take us down a narrower path -but they make all the difference in the world and eternal life...Trusting in the Father and Son will get us back to the garden...They will get us to paradise -to heaven...
