Job 42:1-6
Job Comments to God
1 Then Job replied to the Lord:
2 “I know that you can do all things;
no purpose of yours can be thwarted.
3 You asked, ‘Who is this that obscures my plans without knowledge?’
Surely I spoke of things I did not understand,
things too wonderful for me to know.
4 “You said, ‘Listen now, and I will speak;
I will question you,
and you shall answer me.’
5 My ears had heard of you
but now my eyes have seen you.
6 Therefore I despise myself
and repent in dust and ashes.”
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight
It would be nice to have all or most of life's questions answered for us...But that is not going to happen...And we can learn a lesson from not having or getting all the answers to all things...
God did not answer one question that Job had for Him...Job found out that getting the answer to all one's questions is not necessary...In the end Job was happy and safe and secure with God's Presence...Our thoughts and our experiences sometimes cloud the fact that we do not know or need to know all things...We must learn to lean on God's Understanding and believe Him and in Him...If we believe in Him, are obedient to Him, and trust in Him that He will make our paths in life straight...
