Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
We trust more people than we might realize...And really to live in this world you have to trust people...But there are some people who say that they trust only a few people or only a very one or two people...But that might not be quite correct...We trust people driving when we cross the street, we trust people when we go drive our cars through green traffic lights, we trust people who have built the bridges we cross over, and we trust people those who prepare our meals when we go out...We trust a doctor when we take medicine, but also we are trusting the pharmacist and also the one and the company who made the medicine we are taking...We trust the grocer who puts out the food we buy, when we assume that it is safe to eat...So we actually trust more people than we really think of when we think about it...And many of these people we trust we have never met or seen...
So when Solomon wrote for us to trust in the LORD with all of our heart and lean not on our own understanding; and to follow Him in all of our ways, and that He will make our paths straight -it is another matter of trust...And it is also a matter of trusting God to be in our lives and living our lives that follows His Word and His Son's Teachings...
It is extremely difficult to trust only your self and a few people in the world that we live...So we do trust many...God created us that way, to be in fellowship with our neighbors...And it is wiser to Trust in the LORD and to lean on His understanding of all things instead of our own understanding of things, so He can help us live a better and more abundant life...
