Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight
John 17:3
Now this is Eternal Life
3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
To believe in Jesus and God is an eternal trust...They are eternal...We are finite...We should learn to trust in the Eternal, and in God and His Son...But if we do not believe in our Father, then trust is a temporary word...
Jesus, when He walked the earth, taught us to forgive, help others, and be less self centered...But sometimes this seems contrary to what we actually do...To trust in the LORD is a hard task...It seems, we lots of time would rather trust in our own understanding...And when we trust only in our own understanding there is no eternal life...Eternal life is to believe and trust in Jesus and to believe and trust also in the One who sent Him...And to believe only in ourselves and this world makes us less forgiving, and more self-centered, with no eternal life...
