In 1916, the foundation of the ookuchi anglican-Episcopal Church was established by Maki Kondo, Elder Tora Soejima, missionary Miss Thompson, evangelist Shimeko Ishimoto, Tomoki Okamoto, evangelist Takeshun Kurashiki in Isa, Kagoshima, Japan.
