Man thinks he can be good but can he?...Man seems to have good intentions, yet things seem to go awry...Have our good thoughts and good intentions led to good actions?...As we read the headlines today, we see that there are several wars and warring hotspots around the world today and that there are many troubles in this world today...The history of man has seen war since we left the Garden...So it seems to me that there has always been troubles going and dating far back in time...So when Jesus told us to love our neighbor as we would ourselves, we have always, as we study history, found this hard to do...The answer about always loving our neighbors is in the verse that no one is good but God alone...It seems that God and Jesus are the Only Ones who can truly LOVE both their neighbors and their enemies, all the time...They bring us Good Thoughts...They bring us much needed thoughts...
Jesus is needed, if you believe that man is a sinner...The world is in need of a Savior...Jesus teaches us that the reality of life is that man does sin and that we need God and Him to help us...That is reality...Can this world go years without having a war or a skirmish with our neighbors?...Do you recognize that there are some people or groups of people that you find difficult to love?...Do you recognize this as part of your sinful nature?...We need a Savior to love all our neighbors...
Jesus came to earth to talk to and call on sinners...He taught sinners, a Better Way, the Right Way, His Way...We need a Savior and Peter addressed this issue in the Book of Acts when He said, "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved."...
