John 14:6

Matthew 9:1-8
People Recognize Jesus Has Authority from God
1 Jesus stepped into a boat, crossed over and came to his own town. 2 Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.”
3 At this, some of the teachers of the law said to themselves, “This fellow is blaspheming!”
4 Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said, “Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts? 5 Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? 6 But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man, “Get up, take your mat and go home.” 7 Then the man got up and went home. 8 When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such authority to man.
Matthew 28:18-20
God Has Given Jesus All Authority
18 Then Jesus came to them and said,“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Today as my wife and I were walking, a couple ask us if we would mind reading a pamphlet on "Will suffering ever end?"...We said sure...The pamphlet had many Bible verses quoted in it...What I wonder as I was handed the brochure, is how and what the people were thinking and feeling as they went around spreading the news of the Bible and Jesus?...I wonder if this group that was out was feeling any pressure or feelings of failure, the worry of any persecution from there stopping people, or just what was going through their minds...I wonder what their mindset was?...I remembered back years ago, and how I felt about these things, and people going door to door...And my thoughts and thinking now are much more tolerable about those spreading the good news, than it was when I was younger...
Jesus came to preach to the people in the areas in and around Israel...I wonder how He felt as He told His Disciples, "Let us go somewhere else--to the nearby villages--so I can preach there also. That is why I have come."...He was ready and willing to preach the good news...If there is such a thing as the perfect mindset, I believe He has it...And I believe that in His mind and in His attitude is the complete Truth...He knows that God is His Father and that He comes from heaven...So He knows that what He speaks is the Truth, and He knows what is the Truth...He is Truth...Jesus knows His Father is God, and that He came from God...
Jesus has this ability to approach everyone...He is unique...He showed us the potential of mankind, when He walked the earth...That is just who He is...He is Almighty and Divine...Jesus knows everyone...There isn't anyone He does not know...There is nothing we can hide from Him...We have no secrets from Him...There is not anyone He cannot help, and just make better...He knows the thoughts in our heads and our hearts...He turns people's heads...He has this authority about Him, in fact, it is all authority in heaven and earth that has been given to Him by God, and that gets recognized...Now just because He has this divine mindset and knows the vocabulary inside and out, and even knows our thoughts, and has all this authority, there are those people who still entertain negative thoughts about Him, and do not want to hear about Him or from Him...
