Phillip Grogan.

James Crossan wrote to Jockeypedia, kindly sending photos of his grandfather, Phil Grogan.

Information on jockey Phil Grogan is scarce. It appears that he rode just two winners in England, both in the 1950/51 season in which he had 22 rides. His winners were Billy II in the Small Arms Handicap Chase at Birmingham on 12 December 1950 (trained by H. H. Jones at Marlborough), and Ready Token in the Thurlebeare Chase at Taunton on 17 February 1951 (owned and trained by G. de Lisle Bush). Both were races confined to conditional jockeys who hadn't ridden a certain number of winners. He also rode Lucky Time to victory on Thursday August 3, 1944 in the Renmore Chase at Galway.
