Paul Gleed

Paul, born on May 11, 1950, was apprenticed to George Todd.

It was for Todd that Paul rode his first winner, Golden Raffle, on Friday, April 26, 1968.

In 1971, Paul - seeking greater riding opportunities - rode in the Netherlands. His first winner back from there was Cock of the Walk who, on Monday 16 October 1972, made every yard of the running in the Bosworth Handicap, winning easily.

He rode on just two occasions in 1973 after which, failing to progress, he disappeared from the racing scene.
