Francis Guy

National Hunt jockey Francis Guy was born in 1869. He rode his first winner at Kempton in 1887.

He had just one ride in the Grand National, finishing fourth in 1891 on Roquefort (the 1885 winner). 

He went on to ride a total of 26 winners over jumps, the last of them on Coningsby in the Soberton Handicap Chase at Hambledon Hunt on May 2, 1902.

He had his final ride on Hawk in the Waterloo Selling Hurdle at Portsmouth Park on March 30, 1908, finishing fifth of eleven.
